HERRING COVE BEACH
Located in Cape Cod National Seashore Park, Herring Cove features a special spot known as “Girl Beach,” where LGBTQ+ women gather to be together.
To join us at "Girl Beach": After you pass through the ranger station, turn left and drive to the end of the parking lot. A path there leads you straight to the ocean and our community section.
Herring Cove is part of the National Park Service. Entrance is $25 per car per day. You can also bike or take the shuttle. Visitors aged 62+ can get an annual pass for just $20, valid at over 1,000 federal recreation sites. If you plan to visit the beach more than twice and are under 62, consider the $60 annual pass, which gives access to all six Cape Cod National Seashore beaches.

Once you enter Herring Cove and have passed the ranger hut, go to the right side parking lot. 1/4 of the way down you'll see a car with a Girl Splash banner. Take that blue walkway to the beach. BYOBeverages you enjoy.
7-8:30PM Start your week with a sunset over the ocean! Join us for a gorgeous gathering filled with ocean breezes, firelight, and fellow Girl Splashers. A beach bonfire is always magical. This'll be the perfect way to meet new people, connect, and kick off your vacation with our Girl Splash community.

Gray seals and harbor seals are often seen resting on local beaches at spots known as “haul-outs.” Join educators from the Center for Coastal Studies for a guided hike to search for seals and learn about the vital role these animals play in Cape Cod’s coastal ecosystem. at The Cape Cod National Seashore Park
There’s a section of Herring Cove Beach the locals refer to as "Girl Beach". This is where you'll find us.
National Park entrance fee is $25 a day per car (up to 4 passengers). You can also bike there or take the shuttle. ($15 per person).
Anyone 62+ can buy a $20 annual pass good at over 1,000 federal recreation sites for the year. Passes also access to any of the six Cape Cod National Seashore beaches.
To get by car or bike: Turn LEFT after the Ranger Station at entrance of the Park, then go to the very end of the parking lot where you will find a path out to the ocean and our section.
To get there by Shuttle: “THE SHUTTLE” runs every 20 minutes seven days a week, beginning at 7am to 12:45am
The Shuttle travels to and from MacMillan Pier, down Bradford Street to HERRING COVE BEACH and a loop around town.
Passengers may board the Shuttle at any of the scheduled bus stops or they may flag the bus down anywhere along the bus route! Sponsored by Olivia Travel.
