Provincetown Women's Week - October 9th - 18th, 2009
Women's Week usually begins on Columbus Day Weekend and runs through until the next weekend on Sunday. The weeklong series of films, comedy and musical performances, and parties is sponsored by the Provincetown Arts Council and Women's Innkeepers. Performers include Julie Clark, Kate Clinton, Franklyne, Mimi Gonzalez, Bobby Wetherbee, Alix Olsen, VenusNV, Cris Williamson, Maggie Cassella, Michele Balan, Paula Poundstone, Lea Delaria, Suzanne Westenhoefer - "the country's number one lesbian comic", Jessica Kirson, pop diva Jimmy James, Jennie McNulty, Kate Rigg, Judy Gold, Wendy Sobel, and singer/songwriter Pamela Means.
